Priscilla Benewaah

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Priscilla Benewaah is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 15 year of experience in the nursing and healthcare field with her experience ranging from geriatrics, long term care, mental health, substance use disorder treatment and primary care. 

She graduated from Shenandoah University with her Bachelors in Nursing and graduated from Bowie State University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner and a Post Master’s Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. 

Ms. Benewaah is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Peace Healthcare Inc and currently serves as the medical director for the Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) at Peace Healthcare Inc.
Her experience comprises of being an American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and CPR instructor, Case Manager, Delegating Nurse and a Director of Nursing. 

She is passionate the impact she makes in the individual’s she cares for. Her mission is to provide patient-centered healthcare with excellence in quality service and easy access to services. She is committed to the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and education.

As part of her goals, she believes in helping individuals achieve wellness through lifelong transformations. She believes in a holistic approach of care that considers not only the physical aspects of a patient’s illness, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well and considers healing and wholeness are matters of body, mind, and spirit.

Priscilla is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and American Nurses Association (ANA).      
In 2020 during the Global Pandemic from Coronavirus, Priscilla was selected as a minority woman entrepreneur who contributed as a front-line health worker during the pandemic. She was proudly awarded the 2020 Woman of Distinction in Baltimore County by the Trademark Women of Distinction with the statement “for she had the will, believed in herself and made history”.     

She continues to be dedicated, motivated and committed to be a contributor, a leader and problem solver in improving and enhancing the goals of behavioral treatment as well as bridging any gap identifies and reducing the stigma attached to this.
