Dr. Argin Hutchins

Clinical Director

Dr. Argin Hutchins is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and an Approved Clinical
Supervisor (LCPC-S) with the State of Maryland, Board of Professional Counselors and
Therapist. He is also certified by the State of Maryland, Department of Health, as a Community
Health Worker (CHW). He earned his Doctorate in Public Health from Morgan State University,
a degree of Masters’ of Arts, from Cornell University and he finished his undergraduate
education at the University of Maryland. In addition, he completed an Administrative Fellows
appointment at Harvard University. Dr. Hutchins is a Behavioral Health professional with 30
years’ experience. He has worked as a practitioner and administrator in juvenile detention
facilities, community mental health centers and schools. Dr. Hutchins is also an educator. He
has taught classes in mental health at the Community College level and taught counseling
courses at the graduate school of education at The Johns Hopkins University. Currently he is an
Assistant Professor at Coppin State University, in the Department of Psychology, Counseling
and Behavioral Health. He joined Peace Health Care as the Clinical Director in 2020.
