Catherine Mensah

Director of Nursing

Catherine Mensah is the Director of Nursing (DON) for Peace Healthcare Incorporated. A diligent nursing professional licensed with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, she graduated from Shenandoah University.

Before she was appointed as DON, Catherine worked at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore as a Staff Nurse, a Delegating Nurse for several Home Health Agencies, and as an instructor in an LPN school and a CPR instructor.

“My greatest passion is being there for my patients in a time of need of a compassionate person by the bedside to aid their healing process. As a nurse, I take care of a wide range of patients in their homes and the hospital, giving loving, tender care and helping them overcome their fear of being sick.

Being an RN over 12 years and a Licensed Practical Nurse for over six years has earned me a strong sense of devotion to my patients who rely on me for their medication administration, wound care treatment, and teaching on their disease process. Patients with tracheostomy and ventilated have all been under my care, with families trusting my judgment and caring capabilities.

As a nurse and an educator, I have been able to motivate young nurses to continue their education to achieve their highest potentials. My goal in life is to teach people to take better care of themselves through teaching and motivate them to become the best that they can be.”
